Senior Machinist - CNC & Manual

Burn-Rite is a small, family-owned machine shop in Canton, Ohio, and we're looking for an experienced machinist to join our team. The right person will be comfortable programming, setting up, and running CNC equipment, performing manual machining operations, troubleshooting problems, and helping keep other operators productive.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of machining experience, including strong CNC and manual machining skills
Ability to program, set up, and run CNC milling equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience selecting tooling, establishing setups, and determining machining processes
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to coordinate work and provide guidance to machine operators
Someone who can work independently and take ownership of jobs from setup through completion
CNC Machinist

Burn-Rite is a small, family-owned machine shop in Canton, Ohio, and we're looking for a skilled CNC machinist to join our team. The right person will have hands-on experience programming, setting up, and running CNC milling equipment, with the ability to work independently and produce quality parts from start to finish.
What We're Looking For
Previous machining experience, including programming and setup
Ability to independently set up and operate CNC milling equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Experience selecting tooling, setting work offsets, and making program adjustments
Ability to inspect finished parts and verify dimensions
Ability to coordinate work and provide guidance to machine operators
Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage jobs with minimal supervision
General Laborer & Saw Operator
Full time • M-F • 7a-3:30p • Wages based on experience • Paid holidays and PTO
Burn-Rite is a small, family-owned machine shop in Canton, Ohio, and we're looking for a dependable, hardworking person to help with day-to-day shop operations. This is a hands-on position involving material preparation, saw operation, loading and unloading machines, and general shop support. No experience necessary - we will provide on the job training for operating saws, driving the forklift, and changing parts as needed.
What We're Looking For
Ability to read a tape measure and accurately measure material
Comfortable working with metal stock and lifting heavy materials
Willingness to assist with general shop tasks, including material preparation, cleanup, and organization
Ability to follow instructions and work safely around industrial equipment
Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills
Previous machine shop or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required
